"Awareness Motivates Fight… Fight is Right with Cancer!"

The Cancer Awareness initiative is a small step by the Kerala Club of Detroit, USA to provide awareness of Cancer among the people of Kerala, many of them poor, medically indigent, and unaware of the deadly consequences of the disease. Through mass media campaigns and other grass-root awareness events like community walkathons for cancer awareness, this initiative will drive awareness, knowledge, and solidarity in communities state-wide in fighting Cancer.
Wouldn’t you support our initiatives by participating in a 2K Walkathon in Detroit, Michigan? Your 4000 walking steps in this 2K Walkathon will indeed be giant steps step in the fight against Cancer.

The 2 Mile Cancer Awareness Walk is on Saturday June 11, at 9:30 AM at the Boulan Park, Troy, Michigan See map. Participants should arrive by 9:00 AM. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Hopefully, the sun will be out; however, it is advisable to bring a rain coat and/or umbrella just in case.

Everyone is invited to join the 2 Mile Cancer Awareness Walkathon for free. However, your pledge and donations are welcome and appreciated! A simple click here will take you to the registration page on the website.

Your commitment deserves to be rewarded! There will be some fabulous prizes for participants who raise the most awareness and greatest funds during the 2 Mile walk. Good luck!
